Welcome to Signal & Field Readiness Training Co. ("Signal & Field," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website, registering for a class, purchasing products, or otherwise engaging with our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. ABOUT
SIGNAL & FIELD
Signal & Field Readiness Training Co. is an independent training provider offering American Red Cross–authorized courses, including CPR/First Aid/AED and Basic Life Support (BLS), as well as related educational services and merchandise. Signal & Field is not the American Red Cross but operates as a licensed training provider under Red Cross guidelines.
2. ELIGIBILITY
By using our website or services, you confirm that:
You are at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian
You are legally able to enter into binding agreements
Any information you provide is accurate and complete
3. TRAINING REGISTRATION AND PARTICIPATION
CLASS REGISTRATION
Registration is completed through our website or approved booking channels
Full payment is required at the time of registration unless otherwise stated
Registration secures a seat only for the specific class date and format selected
ATTENDANCE AND PARTICIPATION
Participants must arrive on time and be prepared to complete all required skills and evaluations
For blended courses, the online portion must be completed before the in-person skills session
Failure to complete required components may result in forfeiture of certification eligibility
CERTIFICATION
Certifications are issued by the American Red Cross upon successful completion of course requirements
Certifications are delivered digitally through the Red Cross system
Signal & Field does not control Red Cross certification policies, timelines, or digital account access
4. REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS, AND RESCHEDULING
All registrations are non-refundable.
Participants may reschedule up to 48 hours before the scheduled class, subject to availability
Same-day cancellations, no-shows, or failure to complete required online coursework are not eligible for rescheduling
Signal & Field reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances
If Signal & Field cancels a class, participants may choose a full refund or transfer to another available date2
5. MERCHANDISE SALES
Signal & Field may offer merchandise for purchase through our website.
Prices are listed in U.S. dollars
Shipping addresses must be accurate at checkout
We are not responsible for delays or issues caused by incorrect shipping information
Merchandise sales are final unless otherwise stated
6. HEALTH AND PHYSICAL PARTICIPATION DISCLAIMER
Our courses involve physical activity, including kneeling, compressions, and hands-on skills practice.
By registering, you acknowledge that:
You are physically able to participate or have disclosed limitations in advance
You assume responsibility for your own health and safety during training
Signal & Field is not responsible for injuries resulting from undisclosed medical conditions or failure to follow instructor guidance
If you have concerns about physical participation, contact us prior to registration.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Signal & Field is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the service or product in question
Certification outcomes depend on participant performance and Red Cross requirements
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All website content, branding, text, graphics, and training materials created by Signal & Field are our intellectual property unless otherwise noted.
Content may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission
Red Cross materials remain the property of the American Red Cross
9. WEBSITE USE
You agree not to:
Misuse or interfere with website functionality
Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
Use the site for unlawful or misleading purposes
We reserve the right to restrict access for violations of these terms.
