OVERVIEW

This registration covers your full American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification. After signing up, you will receive a Red Cross voucher from Signal & Field that unlocks the required online portion in your Red Cross account. You must complete the online portion before your scheduled in-person skills session. The in-person session listed above is the hands-on evaluation required to finalize your certification.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN AND PRACTICE

  • High-quality CPR for adult, child, and infant patients

  • Use of a bag-valve mask (BVM) and advanced ventilation techniques

  • AED use in professional and clinical settings

  • Single-rescuer and team-based resuscitation

  • Effective communication and role coordination during cardiac and respiratory emergencies

  • Hands-on scenarios and skills assessment aligned with healthcare environments


BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

  • Complete the online portion before your in-person skills session.

  • Bring your online completion confirmation (printed or digital).

  • Wear comfortable clothing suitable for practicing CPR on the floor.

  • Arrive 10 minutes early for check-in.


CERTIFICATION

Upon successful completion of the online portion and the in-person skills evaluation, you will receive the American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification, valid for 2 years.


ONLINE PORTION ACCESS

A separate email from Signal & Field with your Red Cross voucher will arrive within 24 hours of registration. Complete the online portion before your in-person session.


REFUND & RESCHEDULING POLICY

All registrations are non-refundable. If you need to change your plans, you may reschedule your class up to 48 hours before your scheduled session, provided space is available. Signal & Field reserves the right to cancel a class if minimum enrollment is not met. In the rare event that we cancel a class, you may choose a full refund or transfer to another available session. Please note that same-day cancellations, no-shows, and students who do not complete the required online portion before class time are considered as no-shows and are not eligible for rescheduling.
